If you are staying in Bourg-en-Bresse you must stay in this hotel. Beautifully refurbished at some point fairly recently. It retains the features of an older hotel whilst having all the modern conveniences. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I am looking forward to staying there again.

I like this place. Great location and uncomplicated. We had to change bedrooms because the bed sheets were used before and during breakfast a member of staff slept on one of the tables but hey it was the 29th of December. Maybe it needs leadership.

Nice hotel in a good spot with a very good restaurant. The price of the room was reasonable. The bathroom was excellent and there was ample parking in the square in front if you did not want to use their parking area.

Lovely old building in the centre of town. Room was very pretty with large original windows overlooking the square. Bathroom was en suite with a good large shower. Mini bar and safe in the room. This hotel also has a garage for €14 per night but it is secure but free parking on the square. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel run by another company. Food was absolutely delicious , quite unexpected with really good fresh ingredients. Mid price to expensive but worth it.

If you a tall person I will recommend that to notice in your booking. I got no information at the site and in information desk that, could be a problem if you not in the height "of a hobbit". I'm 1.96 m and room generally is good, have to duck severely time's walking in the room. And the bathroom... I called it the bathroom from hell... To be tall in this room just be funny. First thing, to enter, if I cut my head of, I barely go throw the door. Then they have a bathtub.... Hallo it's the2023... not 1970... Who use a bathtub in a hotel.. imagine me in my height using this... Then every time I shower I couldn't get the water out from the tub... And I'm working with technical stuff... So I got a lake in the tub, until the cleaning lady take away... The room is like to walk in a "funny house ". Straight no, it is like walk on a "sea waves"... Yes I know this must be old apartment, but renovated good when you did it. Breakfast is OK, could be much better, but in France.... Will not book this next time, and not recommend this if you a tall person... The only thing is good, I nearby everything... And then I can get the hell, ans eat and be tall...

Very nice and charming hotel, tastefully renovated with respect for its history, ideally located as a stop on the way south or to explore the region, excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff, pets welcome, I very much recommend this hotel !
